Been delaying this post for almost a month, gotta get down to it or it will never be posted lol.
This is a simple pictorial of how I do my make up for some of the weekends.
Not too dramatic because I don't do smokey eyes. Or rather I have never tried doing smokey eye make up before.
It's not too hard to do make up. It has kind of become a routine thing for me since I wear it most of the time I'm out.
Everyone have different facial structures such that this set of make up might not be suitable for someone else however it can be something inspirational for those who want to try it.

This is how my naked eye looks like.
My double eye lid makes everything very convenient and simple. It is not too tiny such that it smudges my eye liner etc. though I wish for my double eye lid feature to be prominently bigger lol.

1. Lightly pad some foundation (liquid/powder) over your entire eye lid to brighten it up. Then use any black or gunmetal eye shadow to colour the spaces of your double eyelid. This is why I say it's simple for me because all I need to do is to fill up the spaces and the double eye lid line helps alot.

This is the eye shadow I have been using for a long time. It's the E.L.F - Drama eye shadow.
I like this because of the practical colour combination it comes in - White for highlights and black for eyeliner etc.
Some time ago SASA used to carry this brand from the U.S. however they have since stopped due to some issues, not sure what happened.
Anyway,  the only way to get this brand is through online sprees I suppose.
One of the shop is Smoochiezz. I got to know this shop while going to Cathay for movie. Outside Cathay near starbucks, they have this flea area and Smoochiezz was there. They also have NYX products, MAC etc.
I have not tried buying from them online but most probably I will once I used up my stock.
ELF is super cheap too. The last I knew was it cost about $2-3 bucks only over in states.
So it's about $6-7 in Singapore. Wallet friendly.

2. So after colouring the double eye lid with the eyeshadow as a base, you can start tracing it over with your liquid eyeliner. Many people cannot control liquid eye liner well. I find this method the easiest such that with the black eyeshadow as your base, you'll only need to trace & colour the entire space of your double eyelid with the liquid liner. Of cos this only work for people with double eye lid my size. If you have wide double eyelid, it'll look too thick...
After colouring, lengthen the line outwards. I like to lengthen my eye line to create this cat-eye look hahaa.

The liquid eyeliner I am using is the Majolica Majorca perfect automatic liner in black BK 999.
Usually I'll twist the pen twice until I see a SMALL bob of ink. Next, I'll spread it over my eye lid evenly.
Sometimes after spreading once, I'll will have to turn the pen one more time and spread more ink until you have your double eyelid covered. Control your hand pressure, treat it as though you are drawing.
(I'll touch on the Canmake lasting creaming liner below)

3. Next, put on the falsies! Somehow I like falsies because:
- It does not cause clumps
- Better effects than mascara
If you apply correctly, you'll feel as though the falsies are your natural eye lashes.
Please trim your falsies if the length is too long and is poking your eye... I usually cut off  about 1/4 off the ends.

Of cos I don't put them on everyday, only the weekends (: I'll only put on mascara to work as falsies is a little dramatic.

I bought this falsies from SaSa, quite cheap too I can't remember the cost but it's around $4-8.
And you can re-use it several times until it goes out of shape or damaged.

4. Next, use this SilkyGirl Funky Eyelights pencil in silver to highlight your lower eye lid.
This is an important step for beginners who does not know how to line your lower eye lid.
I find it much easier when you get use to lining your lower eye lid with a lighter colour or highlights.
During my poly days I always like to use this SilkyGirl silver eyelights pencil to line my lower eye lid as I have no idea how to line it with a black liner. I'm so worried that I'll mess up the black liner for the lower eye lid and look like a panda.
It's only about a year back I discovered an easier way on how to line your bottom eye lid.
That is to use this silver line as a stepping stone - a tracing line. I'll cover more below.

5. After lining my bottom eyelid with the silver eyelights pencil, it's time to put on foundation. I am using a liquid foundation - Loreal's true match super-blendable foundation (N1).
N1 is the lightest tone because my skin is too fair :(

Apply this liquid foundation all over your face except the nose because the nose is the most oily area so I refrain from applying liquid foundation.

Once the application of liquid foundation is done, pat some powder all over your face & the nose to set it. Do not pat too much else it will look cakey. Just one round lightly will do.
I am currently using ZA's powder (tone 21). Occasionally, I will use Loreal's powder (R2).
Both brands are good but ZA's is more wallet friendly.
You might like to apply some powder under your eyelid with your fingers to cover the black eye circles.

6. Finally, I'll use the Canmake Lasting Creamy Liner to line my bottom eye lid.
From the above silver highlight lines, trace the line with this Canmake Lasting Creamy Liner in black.
You won't go wrong with tracing hehe :p
I do not know how to use liquid liner to line the bottom eye lid; it might look too hash too.
Pencil liner looks better. I am still in search for a good pencil eye liner that does not smudge especially for the bottom eye lid, my waterline always smudge after a few hours. This Canmake one however is currently the best I've tried that stay alive on my waterline the longest, but still it runs off after a few hours and need to re-touch.

This is the final look.

 Something additional to share.
This is the best mascara I have ever used in my life:
Heroine Make's Impact Frame and Curl Mascara.
Increases both volume and length.
Be careful when you buy because Heroine Make has 3 kinds of mascara.
One is to increase volume only.
One is to increase length only.
And finally this.... increases both volume and length.
Very good product which I find even better than Majolica Majorca's Lash King which the salesgirl tried to sell me. The Majolica Majorca's Lash King contains so many little fiber hairs that I find it super irritating when applying.... The effect looks like shyt. I gave up super fast after trying it once with all the weird little fiber hairs.
Perhaps I have not grasp the right way of applying it...

This is the blusher I am using currently from NYX.

And the NYX eyebrow pencil. I like it because it comes with eye brow brush. No sharpening needed.

And another NYX Jumbo eye pencil in white for highlights. I rarely use it though.

That's all for today, hope to come out with something interesting to share again. Especially smokey eyes lol, hmm.
