1. CatWalkClose - Alysen Ruffle Skirt, Cobalt
- I previously own a piece of this skirt in slate blue which I have already let go months ago. The current skirt and the old batch is abit different. This batch of skirt is free size and comes with side zip; whereas the old one comes in sizes with a tight elastic band.
Honestly I prefer this skirt because the old batch's elastic band squeeze out tummy fat whereas this doesn't and is much more comfortable!
- Sizing fits great.
- Decent length for me and does not ride up much.
- Not sheer.
Seriously I don't know what size to get when buying from LB going forward. The sizing is like not constant at all, sometimes size S fits perfectly and sometimes Size S fits loosely that I needed XS. So usually I would just follow the sizing that the LB models wear - Size S to play safe. Apparently, the site state size S is snug on them, so I dare not size down to XS in addition that this dress belongs to the PETITE range.
I received the dress and am rather disappointed with the sizing, the PTP is big and looks shapeless. I would very much prefer this dress to look fitted, XS might be perfect. Not keen to go through the hassle of exchanging so decided to keep the dress and use a skinny belt so it does not look loose, am glad it works.
Anyway the good thing is that this dress is really gorgeous with the lace details, even my colleagues express their interests and love for this dress.
- Fully lined and not sheer to me, I was wearing nude undergarment, not sure if dark ones will show but who will wear dark undergarments for cream/white colour clothings >.>
- Comes with back zip for easy wearing.
- Not recommended for the tall girls especially above 1.65m as the length is short.
3. TheTinselRack - Everyday's Valentine Sweetheart Bustier Dress, Black Size (XS)
Sorry only took 1 quick snapshot when I was trying out the dress, too tired and late few nights ago. Will add OTD pics in future :)
- This is from the BO which finally arrived. Almost thought I won't get this dress because there's some shortage of fabric problem and BO got delayed but thankfully Joyce and the factory managed to source for the same fabric for red and black colours. I think the Teal got replaced with navy, and no news for the yellow.
- Comes with detachable straps.
- Fabulous cutting, every girl should own one!
- Size XS fits perfectly and allows me to wear the dress without straps :)
- Not sheer at all.
- Comes with bonings at the side, however bust is not padded.
4. CatWalkClose - Clarrise Cable Knit Cardigan, Pale Peach
Same as the above, only took a quick snapshot when I tried it on, shall take close up pics in future, perhaps the coming week!
- I like the sapphire blue and this colour most! but I chose pale peach in the end because the buttons are more prominent compared to the sapphire blue.
- If I were to compare, I would prefer Hollyhoque's Criss Cross Knit long cardigan over this in terms of cutting, knit and thickness. HH's piece is thicker but this is pretty too, I like the row of buttons :)
5. CatWalkClose - Aviela Pocket Dress, Royal Purple (S)
I have nothing but praises for this dress.
Fabulous cutting, colour and material.
I especially love the strong royal purple colour alot, think it looks great on people with fair skin.
Comes with non-detachable and adjustable straps.
Fully lined hence it is not sheer.
Both sides of the dress comes with hidden pockets and little ruffles oh so cute.
Sizing fits nicely with slight allowance.
6. Intoxiquette:
Top: Basic Buttons Cotton Tank in Dark Grey
Bottom: Floral Shorts in Rosey Red
This floral shorts is super gorgeous! The red roses with green-greyish leaves matches so well together!
Really love it but the shorts feels snug on me especially on my hips, am considering to let go if there is an interested buyer, else I might keep it and perhaps shed some weight to wear this pretty number. Ahh I think I've been eating so much that bottoms feels tighter and tighter on me, time to exercise :(
Anyway this floral shorts is not sheer.
Tank top - it is kinda sheer especially under bright lightnings so nude undergarments and black one for this colour is recommended. Thin and light weight. Rather low cut as well. I like the contrast row of white buttons so it's not bad to get one since basics are never outdated.
7. LoveBonito - COVET, Valentine Dress in Dark Nude Size (XS)
This dress finally arrives after a longgggggg time from BO! Well I have mixed feelings for this dress lol. Where should I start, hmmm:
- The dress is a 2 piece. Comes with a stretchy separate nude inner slip with adjustable straps.
- The crotchet outer layer is the deal, which is made of thick gorgeous crotchets, perhaps this explain the price tag. Yes it's really pretty and I love the crotchet details, the crotchet details makes the dress looks expensive.
- Well the con is that this dress is shapeless, I don't feel the dress is flattering at all. Would very much prefer to wear it with a belt to give the body shape.
- Very decent length, would prefer it to be shorter though.
- I'm wearing a nude undergarment so I can't tell the degree of sheerness, it'll work as long as you don't wear dark undergarments under light coloured clothings ;)
