Anyway thought of doing some quick reviews on 1-2 loots I've tried at kissjane especially for Megagamie's launch tomorrow for those interested.
Megagamie's Venice Asymmetrical Dress in Cobalt
Bought this on impulse, no idea why I bought it, guess I was under a spell after looking at the lookbook lol.
- Love the cobalt colour but because the lightings are orange, it doesn't look as nice.
- I find the back is too low cut and armhole large to wear a normal bra.
Most probably gonna wear this with an inner black tube :/
Material is chiffon, fully lined so not sheer.
Midi length for front and the longest back length ends somewhere above ankle bone. No alteration needed for length, but I may consider alteration for the straps to make it shorter so no need to wear an inner tube.
Comes with detachable sash.
No zip or elastic band.
TheTinselRack - Sunbeams dress, White (S)
- This was launched long ago and recently TTR re-launched it again.
- A really lovely and sweet dress with pretty front crotchet design
- Adjustable straps
- No zip
-Fits great
- Elastic waist.
- Fully lined, even though it's white, don't really find it sheer, perhaps slightly only.
- But I don't like the length, prefer it to be slightly shorter.

Top: LoveBonito - Basics Taffie top, Fuschia (S)
Bottom: TheDesignClosets - Polkadot High Waist Skirt, White (S)
Top: Sizing fits comfortably. Abit loose at shoulders. Was hesitating between XS and S but most colours for Size XS were OOS, so decided to try S.
Not sheer for Fuschia, love the colour, it's a dark hot pink shade.
Slightly puff sleeves. I think I prefer this LB top over AE's 3/4 sleeves basic top.
Bottom: For the polkadot lovers! Decided to get it in white as black seems more common and for green, have to spend more effect in matching the tops.
This white isn't pure white. I feel it's more of ivory shade.
Comes with inner lining. Slightly sheer, nude undergarments would do the trick. I tucked in the LB taffie top in fuschia and you can't really see the top underneath the skirt. Compared to the LB Clemenceau skirt in white below which I find it rather sheer after wearing it out ;(
Sizing fits great for me; side zip for easy wearing.
Waist is pleated and does not come with any elastic band.

Bottom - LoveBonito - Clemenceau Skirt, White (S)
Reviewed the skirt previously. Wore it out and find that Size S is pretty loose for me, was hanging on my hips and have to use a belt to hold it, a belt would do the trick so no worries. The sizing of this skirt is slightly bigger than usual so don't size up. White is rather sheer, my mom say it's quite transparent as well. If only LB use a thicker lining :(

Top - Triselle - Cotton Pussybow Blouse, Black
Bottom - HerVelvetVase - Tijon Leather Skirt in Dusk, (S)
Top: Love pussybows, very feminine. Love the combi with HVV's leather skirt for work :3
Fits great, top is loose fit, not figure hugging.
No inner lining and not sheer for black.
Functional buttons in front and no zip.
Requires ironing though.
Bottom: Find the dusk colour most unique among all the colours.
It is a shade of grey-muddy brown mix hehe.
Comes with side zip for easy wearing, no elastic band.
Not stretchy.
Sizing fits great and comfortable.
Inner lined hence not sheer at all.
4. HerVelvetVase - Haute Tweed Dress in Greige Blue, XS
Am pleasantly surprised with the quality of this dress. Thick and definitely worth the penny.
V. slightly stretchy only.
Fully lined and not sheer at all.
Comes with a back zip for easy wearing.
The tweed comes with glitters, slightly shimmery but not overwhelming at all.
Sizing fits great, slightly fitting at top but still acceptable.
Initially only decided to get midnight blue. Was tempted with the white but I was unsure if it will be sheer. dam funny cos after I carted out midnight blue, suddenly got this surge of temptation to get white, cos the sheerness doesn't look obvious from the website's pictures. Quickly emailed HH to see if I can add in one more white piece under same order ID without carting out for another order ID to be couriered and they say ok, just have to top up the $15.50, cheers for HH :)
Anyway, yeah the white still turns out rather sheer T_T but I love the cutting. perhaps I shall experience with nude undergarment or seamless ones to see if it looks better.
Anyway for the midnight blue, it's not sheer at all. Top is not low cut, quite stretchy.
6. TheClosetLover - Twilight Maxi
- Length wise fits perfectly. No alteration required. Longest length ends around my ankle bone.
- No inner lining/side zip/elastic band. Just a black cotton maxi to throw and go.
- Loose fit. Does not comes with any sash or belt. I find it better looking when worn fitted at waist with a skinny belt.
- Not sheer.
Side track a little.
Went to The WildFlower Shop's showroom at Ubi for a shoot and also to shop the sales yesterday hehe. They sell almost everything! From clothings to accessories like rings, earrings, sunglasses, bags, sandals, pretty heels and even boots. Love the boots but I won't really wear it in Singapore unless for functions :( would definitely get it if I'm going to overseas! They are having clearance sales at their showroom now until 29th June 2012. Bought home several items in the end ahh.
My make up for the day. Bloody Red lipsticks and if I had yellowish amber contact lenses too, gonna look so vampire-ish hahaa. Sometimes I wonder how much make up the girls would put for photoshoot, the studio lights are so powerful it can make you appear like you have no make up at all.
Ok back to reviews hahaa.
7. TheWildFlowerShop - Romance Babydoll Top, Pink
Couldn't resist buying this even though I find it ex for a piece of chiffon hahaa.
Changed and wore it out immediately after reaching home yesterday for the night.
I think pink was sold out from the site first but it got restocked again recently.
This top is sheer and meant to be layered with an inner tube.
Tube is not provided.
No zip/elastic band. To throw over and go.
Definitely love the babydoll cut.
8. Triselle - Leopard Cuff Jeggings, Navy (M)
Thinking back, I don't wear jeans at all lol. Only wear Jeggings etc. It's either tight fit or loose fit trousers, no loose fit jeans.
I love jeggings so much because it's thicker than leggings, yet comfortable.
This pair of jeggings is more unique because you can roll up the bottom hem which comes with leopard printed cuff.
If I don't feel like showing the leopard printed cuff, I can just roll the cuff back down. so it'll just look like a normal piece of solid colour jeggings. Only the bottom hem is leopard printed and you can roll it up once.
Sizing fits great with not much allowance.
Material is stretchy though.
Elastic banded at waist, no zip.
Navy is dark navy, looks abit like black.
Not of denim material. I am not sure of the material but it feels similar to TheTinselRack's happy holiday skinny pants if you own one.
Having the most boring weekend this week.
My right eye got an infection, I guess it's sore eye so had to stay home and rest my eyes.
Feels irritating cos of the occasional itchy attack, you'll just feel like digging out your eye ball, opps.

Megagamie - Shredded Denim Shorts in Medium Wash (S)
Saw Size (S) on the rack and blur me thought it was the smallest size, forgot about XS.
Size S fits very comfortably with allowances.
Couldn't make it for the online launch so I had to give this shorts a pass, until I tried on the shorts again and fell in love with all the shredded details and fray hems.
Have to be careful during washing though.
However when I got home and try on the shorts again, the button unfortunately dropped out -.- must be badluck ahhh, gotta sew it back.
Top: TheClosetLover - Double Petals Top in White (XS)
Got this some time back but have not review it.
Love the colour combination and the double petals peterpan collar feature, an basic essential when matching bottoms.
Sizing wise fits great.
The only thing I dislike is the sheerness. You can still see through light undergarments, perhaps next time I shall try the nude ones, hopefully it works.
AmberAvenue - Ezra Peplum Skirt, Black (S)
Was initially eyeing on the white piece from online preview. However when I saw the white and black pieces at kissjane, my eyes and heart went for the black instead.
Reason being could be due to the vibrant floral prints!
I have to say the white is equally pretty as well but my heart just goes to the black hehe.
The skirt does not comes with inner lining but it is not sheer at all, made of rather thick structured cotton.
Sizing wise fits comfortably, slightly loose at highwaist. Unless I tuck in with a thicker top.
Well, did anyone spot that AA's Ezra peplum skirt in white is very very similar(or the same) to the upcoming floral printed peplum skirt LoveBonito's Rach is wearing...
Nevertheless perhaps shall get the white one from LB and see if there's any difference lol.
Below is an OTD wearing the LoveBonito's Miranda Peplum Skirt in Black (S) which fits comfortably with slight allowances.

This kaftan dress is not of oversized fit.
Fits great for me.
Waist part of this dress consist of a self-tie drawstring which gives the waist shape.
Comes with bottom half inner lining so it is not sheer at all.
Decent length.
The embroidery details are very pretty and I definitely love the boho look.

Agneselle - Premium Colleen Dress, Lavender (S)
I knew I have to get this during the online preview.
Great structured quality and material.
Comes with a back zip for easy wearing.
Fit is perfect as well.
Do note that material is not stretchable. Waist size for this can only fit up till waist 25-26 max comfortably imo.
The armhole, I didn't know it would be this big until I tried on the dress. It's larger than usual, might show a little peekaboo with the bra.
Also the cutting from waist down, it's a little too poufy or lantern-like to my liking. Very unique though.
Have decided to let this go, don't find it suitable for me :(

Ohvola - Coastal Floral Bustier, Blue (S)
Can't get enough of bustier tops and florals.
This bustier top has one of the prettiest floral prints! Definitely gotta own one :)
Comes with a side zip which I find it very well concealed.
Well as I was preparing to wear the top, I tried to look for zip for easy wearing. Failed to locate it, so I thought, hmm ok, shall try to pull it over my head and shoulders.
It was a little struggle trying to make the top go pass my shoulders, it was then I realised the presence of a zip -.- it's just that unlike the usual zipping up zip, you have to zip it down for this top so that is why I thought weird how come I can't find the zip. The zip actually starts from the bottom hahaa. Facepalm.
No inner lining but not sheer at all.
Non-detachable but adjustable straps.
Smoked back.
Fits great.
Another OTD from last weekend:
Top: TheVelvetDolls - Basic Bandage Tank top in white
Bottom - LoveBonito - Sanchez Skirt in Violet (M)
The bandage top is like the most popular basic top going around many blogshops now in different colours. Very nice and easy to match with bottoms! Also had the one in indigo.
Very stretchy. White is only slightly sheer.
The LB Sanchez Skirt in Violet got it long ago but have not not worn it out yet until recently. I had sized up from my usual Size S as I was unsure if Size S would be snug. Usually for bottoms I would go for a PTP of 12.5 inches but the measurements of this skirt is in between a Size S and M so it's really hard to choose, settled for Size M instead and it fits with allowances. Can't wear this highwaisted, am wearing it low waist instead, somewhere around hips. I think Size S would fit better for this :/
