1. MissyPixie - Sammie Black
- This dress is really pretty with the vibrant floral prints, super love it but it's a pity the length is so mini. I think it's more like a top to me or to be worn with leggings.
- Fits great.
- Not sheer, no inner lining.
- No zip, elastic banded at waist.
- low scoop back, reveals bra line, unless you wear a low cut one.
2. Hollyhoque - V-neckline knit dress, Jade
- One of my favourite piece, yes it's knit again! =3
- Reviewed this before, not recommended for girls above 1.6++ m though because length is rather short unless you are comfortable.
- Versatile and easy to match dress, just throw on a necklace and there you go!
- No zip, not sheer.
- Seamless undergarment required.
3. ThreadTheory - Fluffy Daydreams Pullover
- Super love the pink colour, very sweet.
- The knit comes with thin glittery silver threads so unlike the usual knit.
- Meant to be oversized and slouchy looking.
- Slightly sheer.
- It might look abit poufy and fluffy due to the size but it's great and comfy for rainy days!
4. Hollyhoque - Criss Cross knit long cardigan, red
Hollyhoque - Pleated Frills Sweetheart Tube Top, black
Foggaire - Knit Bandage skirt, grey
The Hollyhoque cardigan needs no more introduction! Able to keep warm but not as thick as I am expecting though. Loving the red yeah! The Hollyhoque sweetheart tube top in black is too black to see any details hahaa! Anyway the fit is just nice but slightly loose, will not recommend it to uk 4. Foggaire skirt I bought it from NEX just 2 days ago on Saturday. Didn't know they have a branch at NEX until I pass by and saw that they are having sales for some items, I think 30-50%. This skirt originally cost $28.90 but I got it at $20.20 only without postage so very worth it (Y). Besides this, they also have plain knit bandage skirts so go check it out but but but i am not sure if the sales have ended already =x
breakfast on a sunday morning
Went to Changi village last 2-3 weeks ago for breakfast with family. We used to go there for breakfast on Sunday morning once or twice a month but because recently everyone is busy and tired, it's been about half a year since we've been there.
Love the dim sum there especially the egg tarts, my favourite.
Many bikers like to gather here for breakfast/lunch, so you see loads of bikes here, happening!
The bike below is awesome, everyone who walk past it will stop to admire the bike. The front looks big and bulky though but the side is - slick and steady, like a bike fit for an assassin/spy hahaa! should have taken a sideview pic :(
Went to the changi jetty just opposite to enjoy the breeze.
Hollyhoque - Criss Cross Knit Long Cardigan, Red & Grey
Hollyhoque - Criss Cross Knit Long Cardigan, Red & Grey
- The red colour is darker than HH site pictures, not those striking red, this red is dark red & wearable :)
Comparison between HH's previous Weave Knit Cardigan & Criss Cross Knit Long Cardigan
- Quality, thickness and material (i think) the same
- Actually I was expecting this new Criss Cross Knit Long Cardigan to be thicker, but no =/ it's the same as the weave knit cardigan.
- Only differences are the pattern and the length. The Criss Cross Knit Long Cardigan is longer perhaps hence the higher price.
- Am turned off by the price at a whooping $34.50 without postage though :(
I know about the bestofshopping.livejournal, but somehow got addicted to posting here cos it's rather time-saving and faster. Have to figure out resizing pictures for livejournal! Can't wait to join the others there! Most probably shall update the livejournal side during weekend :)
1. Smitten - Clarisse Knitted Top, Coral
Got to know this shop from Zoe's blog, managed to grab the last piece in coral, super lucky hahaa :)
The true colour is duller in real life though but it's fine with me else it'll look too pop. Sheer, inner piece required. Great fit and versatile.
2. Agneselle - Ruched Tube Dress, Grapevine
Hollyhoque - Circular Prints Knit Cardigan in Navy/Cream
Kept the Grapevine Ruched Tube dress for rather long and finally wore it today because I also have the cream piece and have been wearing the cream piece out instead. This grapevine piece was actually meant to be like a 'backup' after the cream piece is worn out lol! Well, can't wait that long hahaa. Love basic tube dresses like this :)
- Non sheer, fully lined.
- No zip for easy wearing, elastic banded at back.
- No boning nor padding.
- Seamless undergarment is a must.
- Will not recommend girls above 1.6m to get this unless you are comfortable with mid upper thigh length.
3. Agneselle - Aloha Crotchet Knit Crop Top, Pink
- Was eyeing this piece and so lucky to have won it, that means money saved.
- Love the knit design, rarely see knit crop tops like this outside.
- I felt the neckline is rather small, can't wear it one-off shoulders. Pei ling must have stretched her pieces to wear one-off shoulders @_@
4. LoveBonito - Tazelle Tank, White & Dark Periwinkle (both XS)
- Great basic to own.
- Love the eyelet details at the hem.
- No inner lining nor zip.
- Great fit.
- Dark periwinkle piece is darker and duller in real life.
- White piece is slightly sheer, nude undergarments required.
5. TheTinselRack - 60's Girl Mini Mod Dress, Black (S)
Totally love the fit and cutting of this dress! Really makes one looks petite/slimmer.
- Quality is great.
- Double lined and thick, not sheer at all.
- Comes with side zip for easy wearing
- Perfect fit and length.
- Comes with detachable sash.
- Comes with 2 side slant pockets (Y)
- IMO, Size S can only fit up till a small uk8.
6. Megagamie - Between Flare and Ruches Dress, Black (S)
- Gorgeous cutting for the sleeves, skirt and waist.
- Size S fits with allowance and it's a little loose on my shoulders.
- The length of the skirt is uneven.
- Double lined hence non-sheer.
- Comes with back zip for easy wearing.
Alright Ciaos, gonna go for some desert and watch the Running Man! Running man is dam hilarious! <3
